peanut butter brownies??

Just popped a batch of experimental peanut butter, high fat brownies in the oven...high fat?? Yes, high fat - you see, I have a couple crazy friends heading North next week to compete in the Rock and Ice Ultra XC Ski Race, and I figured at -27 deg. celsius, these would fare well. I froze little droplettes of organic peanut butter to fold into the famous brownie mix, (a secret, but it is on the CBC website...;) in the hopes that the brownies will remain chewy at these temps, and provide welcome fuel in time of need. I added a little soy protein as well, so they can get a wee boost after several hours of zipping across the frozen tundra. I hope they work out!!
